The Caregiving Soul:

Thank you for Season 1!

Hosted by Dannelle LeBlanc, December 27, 2022

Thank you so much for listening to Season 1 of The Caregiving Soul.

I am so grateful to all of the guests this season, who vulnerably and courageously shared their stories and provided their guidance and expertise with us. Through them we have learned new ways to effectively communicate, seek help, and find resources on our caregiving journeys.

Some of my favorite conversations covered how to care for loved one with brain change, how to seek support and community, how to achieve independence through mobility modifications, and how to find joy in difficult moments. I’m hopeful that through your listening you gained some valuable insight and tools for your caregiving toolbox.

We are already hard at work planning up some very exciting ideas for Season 2, which will be launching in early 2023.

Until then, for more, empowering content to support the health of you, your loved ones, and your communities, visit empoweredus.org to check out our other podcasts and projects. [00:00:14] Thank you so much for listening to Season One of The Caregiving Soul.

[00:00:20] I am so grateful to all of the guests this season, these amazing people who have transformed their own life challenges into agency to help others make their way with greater certainty and purpose. Together, we’ve learned ways to communicate more effectively, reframe perspectives that no longer serve us and connect with people and resources that support our caregiving journey.

[00:00:53] Our guests shared their insights about how we can better pace our time, energy, and difficult emotions when we seek support and community, when we modify daily routines through technology and home environment, and find joy in the small moments we might have previously overlooked. I’m hopeful that in listening you recognized a part of yourself and gained useful insight and feel better equipped for the challenges of caregiving.

[00:01:29] We are already hard at work planning up some very exciting ideas for season two, which will be launching in early 2023.
